Strongboys are designed to attach to acrow props, used  to support walls when making openings, installing lintels, rsj's and beams.
Just hammer the strongboy blade into a cleared mortar joint or a hole where a brick has been removed and use an acrow prop to support it while you repair or remove the stone or brickwork beneath.

Alternatively consider using prop pals which may be more suitable for certain projects.
